1000 Miglia Experience UAE 2026

The 1000 Miglia Experience UAE 2026 is a classic-car rally for 120 crews, racing from 30 November to 3 December 2026 across all seven Emirates after an opening programme at DIFC in Dubai. The route includes Jebel Jais, the Al Ain oasis, Jebel Hafeet, the Gulf of Oman coast and a time trial on a track in the Tilal Swaihan desert.

Classic Cars and Tire Age
On classic and vintage cars, the age of a tire matters as much as the tread left on it, because rubber hardens over time even when the car is rarely driven. If you are fitting tires to an older car, check the date code and look for sizes and load ratings suited to the car, not just ones that physically fit.
- Read the four-digit date code on the sidewall (week and year). Tires older than about five or six years deserve a closer look even with tread left.
- Look for cracking in the sidewalls and between the tread blocks, which is common on tires that sit unused.
- Check pressures when the tires are cold, using the figures in the owner's manual.
- If you watch the rally from the roadside, park well off the carriageway and keep clear of the route.
