The 35th Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge runs from 22 to 27 November 2026 in the Abu Dhabi desert. It is the final round of the FIA and FIM World Rally-Raid Championships.

Rally-Raid and Your Tires
Rally-raid cars and bikes use tires built for sand, rock and long desert stages, and teams adjust pressures to the terrain. If you drive into the desert to watch, your road tires face a very different test: soft sand, sharp stones and long distances away from help.
- Check pressures when the tires are cold, using the figures on your door-jamb sticker, and set them back to those figures after driving on sand or gravel.
- Look for cuts, bulges or chips in the sidewalls after any drive on stony or unpaved ground.
- Read the four-digit date code on the sidewall (week and year). Tires older than about five or six years deserve a closer look even with tread left.
- Carry a tire inflator or repair kit, and check whether your car has a spare wheel at all - many newer cars do not.
